Blog #21 - Balancing the game and Android requests
Hello Rotters! How long have you survived? I mean, on the chunky Android controls of the last release hehe.
Well, I've been reading all comments on our community and suggestions on the youtube videos and working hard to try to achieve all the players demands. As the game is mainly build for PC the Android port is being hard. Yesterday night I was thinking about rebuild all the game interface to make it more unified and easily ported - there's a lot of work here.
On the core part of the game I also worked on the game backstory with some new content items as: SD Card where you can plug in to the Mobile and listen to the transmissions, new weapons like: Glock 9mm, USP acp45, Pistol 1911 acp45, UMP acp45, Tactical Shotgun, ACP45 Ammo, Coffee, Coffee Cup and Empty Cup, Bow and arrow, Player auto reload, fixed the crafting menu missing recipes to repair clothes, introduced the game Bombs, settings for custom keybinds (also introducing controllers - Xbox-like), removed the player passout and the weight limit (carrying more weight reduce health) and some game dumb quests to get items around the world. Right now you can complete all of them without exploring too much, making it easy to finish up. Also introduced breakable and barricaded windows and doors for player defence and starting somekind of base building (this is for future notices).
I'm also thinking to reduce some of the player status to try to condensate and use a concept to make it simple.
The game is starting with optimized 256 MB Ram for small map 4x4 (as the default game map).
