[Translation] Calling everyone who speaks more than one language!

Hello everyone!

I’m currently developing a project called Education!, and I’m looking for passionate people to help bring this story to a global audience.

Education! is a comedy visual novel laced with elements of existential horror. You play as a student struggling to study for a crucial history test while battling the chaos of ADHD. It is a semi-autobiographical take on my own experiences with AuDHD—in fact, the entire game was conceived while I was procrastinating for a science test!

The game features a "Useless Points" system where your distractions directly influence the outcome. Will you pass the test, or will you be lost to the "Archives"?

This is my best work to date, and I want it to be accessible to everyone. I’m not just looking for word-for-word translations; I want cultural significance. I want the jokes to land, the "Mom" lectures to feel authentic to your culture, and the slang to feel real.

Current Language Goals:

  • Arabic: (In progress – being handled by me!)
  • French: (Needed!)
  • Spanish: (Needed!)
  • Other: Open to any and all languages!

Terms & Collaboration:

  • Medium-Sized Script: The script is manageable and shouldn't take more than a few days to a week depending on your pace.
  • Tools: You are welcome to use tools like Google Translate or DeepL to assist you, but I ask that you polish the final text to ensure it sounds natural and carries the right emotional weight.
  • Compensation: This is a passion project, so I cannot pay upfront. However, if the game receives donations upon release (e.g., on Itch.io), I am more than happy to split the proceeds with the translation team!
  • Credit: You will be fully credited in the game’s credit roll and on the page!

If you’re interested in helping a solo dev turn a "procrastination thought" into a global indie hit, please comment below!

(I do not have Discord, unfortunately. We'll be working via email and Google Workspace. I'd also prefer if you're a minor, since I do not want either of us to be uncomfortable interacting with each other, and for my personal safety since I'm a minor as well)

Let’s make something peak together <3.

(why am I talking like an AI)
