Please Note

This game jam is for analogue games only. Tabletop roleplaying games, card games, print-n-plays, one shots - they're all welcome!

NO VIDEO GAMES PLEASE!

Any video games submitted to this jam will be immediately removed.

Thank you.

Theme

This jam's theme is IPs in Public Domain in your region. What this means is that any characters, settings, books, movies, etc that are no longer considered copyright and has entered into being able to be used by anyone for commercial or personal use.

Are you in Canada with a TTRPG that takes place in the Hundred Acre Woods? Are you in the States with a card game that is themed around the Cheshire Cat? Do you have an idea for a one-shot in Never Never Land? Well here's the place to submit it!

What will you come up with?

Rules

All entries to this jam must:

1. Be an analogue game, or for an analogue game. We used to say TTRPGs, but really any analogue game is welcomed. This includes TTRPGs, card games, print-n-plays, one-shots, solo games, adventure, and dice games. As mentioned above, no video games please.

2. Fit the theme in some way. This is all about IPs that are in the Public Domain IN YOUR COUNTRY OR REGION. This means intellectual property that anyone and everyone is free to use in accordance to the laws of where you are. You can search for a list fairly easily though. We aren't going to police this, but understand we won't be held liable if you break this rule.

3. Be your own creation. This is especially important for this theme. Please be sure to double-check no matter how certain you are.

4. Not promote hatred, violence, bigotry, etc towards any irl group or people. Be a decent person please.

5. Be accessible for free during the jam if you want in the bundle. We need to make certain they follow the rules. You can use Community Copies, send me a download key, or set it as a (limited time) PWYW, whatever works best for you and your creation.

6. Be SFW. We're a family-friendly company. While your submission doesn't have to be rated PG, just keep the adult content at the door.

You can:

1. Submit multiple games. The more, the merrier!

2. Work individually, in pairs, or in teams. Just make sure credit goes where it's due.

3. Submit old and/or new games. The classics can be just as fun as the new releases, after all.

4. Have your game set as paid or PWYW. I recommend paid because you're putting work and time into this, but that's up to you.

5. Make your game any length. Whether it fits on a business card or takes several pages, it's welcomed... though I might have to skim through small novels.
