Welcome to my second OLA music jam! If you missed the first jam (which is entirely to be expected), I’ll briefly explain the concept for you:

This is the place where you can tell us everything, because music is so much more than just a tune. Music is about feelings, about the moments you create. Even you, yes you, the one who just discovered FL for the first time, can reveal to us a part of yourself, of your life!

Yes, just like in other jams, you need to keep the theme in mind here, but don’t think that the songs will be that cliché or one-dimensional. I’m giving you all the freedom and creative license I can within the scope of this jam. Because I really want to hear what YOUR music actually sounds like.

1. You are not limited by the number of songs or genre: compose as much as you want to realize your idea!

2. You can use any DAW from FL Studio to Garage Band.

3. You can colabarize with other jam participants!

4. Neural networks are forbidden: create with your own hands, not robot hands.

5. The use of samples is allowed, but only those that are not copyrighted or have been modified.

6. It is prohibited to submit entry that has already been submitted to other jams, and conversely, to submit entry from this jam to other jams.

Imagine an event that will change the world forever. Perhaps the whole of humanity, or just your own life. But these events are inevitable, and the only thing left from the past is fear of the future. What will happen next? What will become of me? How will we live? How will my end come now? How often do you find yourself asking this question?

The prizes are plugins created by TekEngine Audio Tools (aka Plasmator Games)—a good friend of mine and the host of many other game jams.

  1. Glacier -  a granular synthesizer for creating ambient pads, drones, and evolving soundscapes. It transforms audio into continuous textures using a three-layer granular engine.
  2.  Perceptual Spectrum Balancer - an equalizer that uses psychoacoustic models to balance audio based on human perception rather than raw frequency analysis.
  3. Granular Plasmator - is a cutting-edge standalone granular synthesis engine designed for sound designers, electronic music producers, and experimental audio artists.

All three prizes will be awarded based on the winner's place.  The prize is a ZIP archive downloaded by me from the official website (because I can't create a direct link).

Q.  Can I still use a neural network to generate parts of a song (such as vocals) rather than the entire song?

A. Yes, I’m not prohibiting the use of neural networks in this case, but keep in mind that the maximum allowed is approximately 20% of the total work.

Q.  I want to join the jam with my friend. Can you give me more details?

A. The entry must be submitted by one of the participants; all other members must be listed in the project description. If your team wins a prize, the entire team will receive the prize, if possible. It is important to note that the evaluation is based on the ENTIRE PROJECT, not on individual songs!

Q. How does the prize distribution work?

A. If you win, the organizer (that is, me) will contact you to deliver your prize. It will usually be a link to Google Drive where your prize is stored. The preferred platform for receiving it is Discord.

Q. Can I include additional materials (such as a themed game or extra decorations) with my work?

A. If this is still your own work, then yes, of course you can. However, please note that the jam does not have a separate category for evaluating the presentation of your submission.

Q. I have some unfinished projects that I started before the jam began. Can I continue working on them and submit them as entries for the jam if I’m confident they fit the theme?

A. Sure!

Can't find the answer to your question? Post it on the Jam's Discord server!
