A few hints to help you through the TANKMAGE Demo...


Hi everyone and thanks for all the love! I wanted to share a hints that might help you beat the demo!

Since you cannot swing the halberd every turn it can be beneficial to alternate between halberd swings and spell useage.

Some enemies heal when they are close to half health, you can use implosion to surprise dump. Implode then inferno for example.

A turtle method can involve using only physical melee for damage, and spells only for defense.

A burst method might open with hally, then inferno, then hally, then inferno -- careful if you run out of mana though!

Enemies can be strategically poisoned to prevent their healing.

Alternating between heal and focus can turn the tides of a battle.

If an enemy misses an attack, seize the opportunity to position yourself better with either a strong heal, and armor or whetstone, or a finishing blow if you are confident.

Some enemies that have special attacks have a limited number of them due to mana, you can heal their dumps and peck them down.

Alternate between heal and focus to maintain health and mana against a risky foe.

Using your first move to cast defensive magic can be advantageous in the long term, but in the short term, it will give your enemy the first hit. Risk vs Reward.

Never be complacent, if your health is low, you could end your run, manage your offense and defense carefully.
