Hardcore Idler is a "different" idle game. It goes a bit against the grain. It's made entirely in Pygame, no engine used.

And... it's my first game.

(that rate button looks mighty fine don't it :eyes:)

  • 14 ranks/achievements
  • 3 buildings
  • 8 upgrades
  • 1 ascension...
  • 4 banger tracks by DJ Samidy
  • Saving + Loading (not on web)
  • Extras for nerds who donate!!!
  • And more!

Q: Why are there little tiny buttons on the right side? What do they do?

A: They turn off the sound effects and music.

Q: Why do the screenshots show save and load buttons, even though I don't see them in-game?

A: You're playing the web version. I can't save to your PC, because if I was able to, everyone would be able to do that,  and there will inevitably be someone abusing that privilege to, like, fill up your PC with useless files or something.

Anyways, get the desktop version if you wanna save.

Of course, I did the programming and design (my website).

Basic code and intermedial code upgrades along with the button were created by me :p

Thank you to CptFuzzball for making the logo WAY, WAY better, lol!

Thank you to axlor6302 for helping with some issues.

And thank YOU! For playing and hopefully enjoying this little game.

(also thanks to shutterstock for images, paint.net for image editing and being awesome, imgonline for converting to negative, and freesound for sfx.)

Not a fun game. You'll spend more time hammering away blindly at a button wondering when the next upgrade will make itself known, as the cost of the 3 clickers grows to cost far more than they could possibly be worth very quickly. Competently made, but brutally unfun to attempt to play.

DJ Samidy got some beats! Hoped to see more overall very interesting first project! Looking forward to future games and beats o7 o7
