Ahhhhrggggg I love all of the Berry witched games, but this was outstanding!! 

I do have some questions tho, memorials gender, they are referred to as he and she what confused me a bit what do they go by and when and why did that change?Also is blueberry trans or is the change of gender just a part of adapting memorials persona since as a child, memorial (if I remember correctly) was only referred to as a she?

All so do buttons and memorial smooch??

Yay, the long-awaited sequel to Strawberry Witch is finally here!
I loved the friendship and memories with the newly introduced Berry Witches!
The art and story of the scene early on at the campground, where the three of them become close while standing on the pier, is my favorite!
That memory strengthens their bond, but it’s interesting how Memorial, who doesn’t understand the importance of friendship, doesn’t realize how precious that memory is. (=ↀωↀ=)

I was a bit late getting to play this, had it downloaded for a while but other things kept distracting me from playing it. But I finally completed it with all endings a couple of days ago and had such a viscerally emotional reaction to that it's taken until now to calm down enough and actually give some feedback.

I love it but it hurt so much to play.

As always the art is gorgeous, I've always enjoyed the contrast between these cute designs and bright colours compared to the oppressive atmosphere and creative body horror (that first bad ending was insane). The music is also lovely, fitting the atmosphere really well. And of course massive props to the cast, everyone did an excellent job and all of the voices suited their characters so well (Buttons was actually my favourite). 

Now for the story... well that didn't fuck around did it? One of the reasons I love your writing is how you're able to balance wholesome moments with unsettling horror and devastating emotional beats. But I was not prepared for a content warning to become a speech that made me have a little existential crisis which then transitioned into a nightmare within the first 10 minutes! There was barely any breathing room, the plot was always moving forward with new revelations and moments but you balanced it all perfectly. Never once did I feel things were rushed or out of place, if anything it just kept the tension going as you continued to add more and more layers to the plot. And I loved all the new characters introduced, it's great seeing more of this world and understanding more of how it works. Raspberry and Blueberry were both wonderful, glad to see Strawberry getting to reunite with her friends (and her mum, yay for Inquiry!). Buttons is so precious while Memorial just flew with the villain role. At first he was someone I loved to hate but then you had to give the backstory and that hurt. Everyone's backstory hurt! Whenever I thought I'd reached the saddest moment somehow you topped it with the next one. 

But of course our main girl Strawberry still takes the cake, it was lovely to have her in a leading role and give us more insight into her thoughts. The fact that she is still as sweet and kind as she is despite EVERYTHING that has happened does show that she's a far stronger character than she might initially come across as. That being said she goes through even more here! I don't think I've ever empathised so much with a single character as I do with Strawberry, maybe it's because I've played the previous games so I have the full context of what she went through but I was really struck with just how little power she has had over her own life. And that "good ending" made me cry. Not just tearing up but full on face in my hands sobbing. It fit for the story being told and I respect the hell out of you for going with it, it would have been so easy to add another scene at the end to show things were alright now but no. you showed how she was affected without trying to sugarcoat things. 

So yes Berrywitched: Harvest is absolutely amazing, a great finale(?) to the Berrywitched series and I'm definitely going to be thinking about it for a long time. The emotional impact was stronger than I was expecting but is a real testament to what an excellent writer you are, I think this has solidified you as one of my favourite game devs. I would be interested to see this world explored more if you choose to do more games, though I do also want Strawberry to just be left alone so she can heal and focus on living her life. That girl has suffered far too much. 

And on a final note... the Strawbunnies are going to be ok aren't they? :(

It’s the birthday guy! I want to share some songs that I think really fit the story of Strawberry:

1. Spring Is Coming With a Strawberry in Her Mouth – by Caroline Polachek: I think this song represents Strawberry’s need for love and understanding.
   P.S.: It’s the most experimental song on the list — kind of strange, but it has its own charm :)

2. Be Sweet – by Japanese Breakfast: This song shows how desperately Strawberry wants to believe in someone who would never hurt her.

3. Evil Thoughts – by Foxy Shazam: I think this one fits Strawberry’s personality when she does questionable things, simply because she just wants someone to listen to her and hold her.

4. Strawberry Swing – by Coldplay: This song fits perfectly with the good ending of Berrywithed. Sometimes I imagine the protagonist and Strawberry sitting on the rooftop of her bakery, watching the stars and enjoying a peaceful moment together.

I've been waiting for years and it was super worth it!!! Love the game and your characters always!!!

I absolutely LOVED playing this game. Michal Kovah being here was a super cool plus!! Although i'm not sure which ending is the "true" ending between the good ending and the ending 5. ( also am i delusional to hope for Strawberry and Memorial to at least be friends again?They were so cute when they were kids!!! im lowkey not, trust, he still has his hair dyed pink to match with her )

Thank you so much for this game, Bunny. I loved every second of it. I don't want to sound like a profit-hungry executive at Disney, squeezingout  every possible penny in the universe, but I would never be able to get enough of Strawberry, I'd always be up for a sequel. At least for when she understands and accepts why everyone loves her so much. I'd love to see her get to live happily despite her traumas as a final closure

I'd even love to see an anime adaptation, like they do with popular mangas(I think it would be a great story to adapt), but I guess that's a big wet dream lol

Anyway, thanks for making this game. It really is a magical feeling to know someone wrote these characters, did the music and poured their hearts into the art, knowing there is a human behind it and not some AI did it on mass product.

What an absolute masterpiece of a game! So happy I discovered this universe. The animation, writing, creativity are amazing. You are truly a talented artist and I am excited to follow whatever you do next.

I've been following your work since the first berrywitched game came out and ive played all of your games since then and i genuinely cant express how happy i was to play this!! the story and art were absolutely incredible and i loved every single second of it, it was so worth the wait!! without putting any spoilers here i think blueberry's character is so interesting and i remember loving her design ever since you first revealed her so im glad i've been able to keep my love for her through the game!! EEEEEKKK!! IM JUST SO GLAD TO SEE MORE INTO THIS UNIVERSE!! it honestly feels so nostalgic playing another game like this again. thank you for bringing us another masterpiece <333

so the game just randomly... disappeared for me? It stopped working when one of Buttons's assets wouldn't load, so I refreshed the page only for the game to be completely missing.

EDIT: Its back up now??? that was weird... hopefully it didn't mess with my save files!

I absolutely love the world of Strawberry — the witches, the colors, and the story itself touched me in a way very few stories ever have. I know you’re a young developer with so much potential, so I really wanted to congratulate you!

I discovered your visual novel about a month and a half ago thanks to YouTubers like ManlyBadassHero and Bijuu Mike. I accidentally spoiled myself the ending of Berrywitch, but even so, I decided to explore more about the game — and to my surprise, all your projects were available for free on Itch.io!

I’m 28, and honestly, I’ve never really been into indie games, visual novels, or horror stories before. So this whole world is new to me — and because of that, your work became a really special chapter in my life. Berrywitch moved me deeply, but also inspired me to start writing a story I’ve had in mind for a while. So, in a way, you’ve helped me a lot without even knowing it.

I’ve played many of your games — Berrywitched, Cherrywitched!, Don’t Let It Out, and Little Red Memories. When I was exploring more of your projects, I noticed you were going to release Berrywitched: The Harvest on my birthday!

I was so excited that I stayed up late waiting for the release, and I was one of the first to play it. I haven’t finished it yet, but I’m determined to get the true ending!
I even created this account just to leave you this comment!

By the way, I really hope the hooded character who met Strawberry in Berrywitched somehow gets mentioned again — that friendship felt so sweet! It broke my heart a little to see Strawberry alone again at the start of this new release, but I can’t wait to finish the story and see what happens to everyone.

It actually hurt so much seeing Memorial and Strawberry omg tou wouldn't believe how many breaths, breaks, pauses and me holding my head in my hands i took while playing this game

I absolutely adore the characters and we finally get to see Blue and Rasp for ourselves!!! Buttons and Memorial are absolutely divine and I adore them so much 🎀

The thing with the bones actually got me i was just joking I didn't think it was true strawberry im so sorry for joking abt it 😭🙏

I thought BTH would never come out of its hiatus... it's great that Berrywitched Sequel is back. I can't wait for this game. Even though I complained about the voice acting sign-up, which got me blocked on Twitter, thanks to my stupid 14-year-old brain. I apologize for that. Nonetheless, I can't wait!

It being called  T H E   H A R V E S T  I am sure it will be just as happy and cheerful as the previous games.
