Kingdom of Pixels is a 2D multiplayer side-scrolling MOBA and platformer game. It is similar to the style of other MOBAs like League of Legends and DOTA 2. The game's theme is pixel-like, bringing a nostalgic and simplistic feel to it.

Choose among a diverse roster of heroes to play as, and win the match by destroying the enemy's base! By killing enemy minions and heroes, you gain gold to build and upgrade items and Experience to level up and become stronger. You can utilize map elements such as Runes and Brushes to your advantage and control the match in your favor.

With a wide variety of heroes and items to choose from, you'll experience unique and distinct games. Choose between a melee or ranged hero specializing in either Normal or Magic type damage, customize your item build to fit your playstyle, and conquer your enemies with plans and strategies.

Average match length: ~10 - 15 minutes

🎮 Current Playable Game Modes

• ⚔️ 2v2 Ranked Match
  Team up with another player and compete in a ranked mode where cooperation, coordination, and teamwork are key to victory.
• 🕹️ 1v1 / 2v2 Casual Match
  Play in a more relaxed environment, with matches featuring either AI opponents or other players.
• 🏟️ Custom Lobbies (up to 4v4)
  Create custom games with up to 8 players and adjust a variety of settings to tailor the match to your preferences.
• 🧪 Practice Match
  Play solo to test heroes, experiment with item builds, and get comfortable with different playstyle

📘 How to Play (Essential Rules)

• 🛒 Items can only be purchased at spawn → plan ahead
• 🏰 You cannot damage the crystal directly → your minions are the win condition
• 🧱 Destroy enemy towers → strengthens your minions and opens the path to victory 

🧠 What Makes It Different

Unlike traditional MOBAs:

• Movement is platformer-based (jumping, positioning, vertical play)
• Combat is mechanically demanding (aiming, timing, dodging)
• Matches are short and decisive (~15 minutes)

Map control still matters:

• Runes provide temporary power spikes
• Brushes enable ambushes and mind games
