ISSUE #75

Hello and welcome to Indiepocalypse!

Indiepocalypse is a curated monthly collection looking to highlight the very best of the alternative indie game scene.

Each month features games by 10 different developers, including a newly commissioned game exclusive to the bundle-zine. The games cover a wide variety of styles, genres, and themes as they fight against any definition of "indie game" as a genre.

Also, and this part is very important to me and should truly be taken as given, each contributor is paid and developers are paid royalties on all future sales.

This Month's Games

Last night you tried this new "tube noodles" stuff for dinner. It tasted just... ok.

Now, why is your stomach speaking to you? And why does it keep telling you to EAT?

SCAB (WIN) by Rhys Shurey, TrinityTales

SCAB is a Lynchian 3D exploration-horror game set around an eerie, remote Australian mining site. Collect clues. Unlock echoes of your past. Watch your back, mate. You're not alone out there…

ABSCOND DELIRIUM (WIN/MAC/Linux) by Rohan Maryam Syed @RENEGAEDZ

Choose your own adventure, if you can.

Umairi (WIN) by Dragon Wasabi Potato

An interactive diary about the new year's shrine visiting day. Enjoy my little journey with a lovely horse figurine pal.

Avenging Angel Hikari Akeldama (WIN/MAC/Linux) by ConeCvltist

Since the dawn of mankind, Heaven has been waging a war against the demonic forces of Hell through the use of child soldiers-turned-bioweapons known as "Angels". The year is 201X, and a lone Angel has just uncovered the disturbing truth of the conflict she's been fighting for years. Will she abandon her cause, or will she avert her eyes from the truth? A yuri-centric OLEVN about duty, love, and sick drum & bass.

Hollow Hills National Park (WIN) by Jacob Potterfield

We all know the story of Hollow Hills, the world-famous Mojave Desert attraction whose lifeform blesses all of our lives with endless technological breakthroughs and scientific wonders.

Now is your chance to explore the park first-hand on the eve of the new millennium. You're not on vacation; this is strictly Company business. Major infrastructural problems seem to be related to anomalous growths in the area.

Why are her flaps like that

Great cover art as usual

(1 edit)

does the cover art has anything to do with the game list? is the clown in any of the games, it called my attention (maybe cuz its in the front of it all) if so in what game does it appear? it is on this bundle to buy it?

How do you compile these lists if I may ask? And are there conditions of any sort? I'm asking because I would've loved for my game Wingin' It! to have been considered. Maybe in a future edition?

The submit link isn't safe! Is there an https alternative?

I don’t know. I don’t think it really matters because you aren’t putting in any personal info like credit cards or anything. I submitted before and nothing bad happened. But use your judgement!
