there are areas on the game that are blocked by a big black square, why is that? one of them is the island on the top right, the other is the ig pizza

this was so cute, came from the sequel trailer. i shit you not i got goosebumps when i finally got the beetle back
edit: i wonder how fun this game would be in other languages such as chinese/japanese where they have characters that can be full words. there's also stroke order but that might be too far from the original vision
