My friend recommended this to me, very lovely game! I could definitely see the concept working in a bigger metroidvania if you decide to expand on it :)

This game was great! When I noticed flowers I was wondering if you made all the diffrent versions the can have, mustve been fun to draw miniture flowers for the game. :D
Yes the moss is procedural but the little pixel flowers are drawn sprites. Thank you!

Now 15:44. I'm rather fumbly, so I know I could make some improvements, but I think that I've got the routing figured out, at least. Haven't watched the sub-9 minute speedruns yet to see what techniques they might use.
I am still really clumsy and fumbly, but I did at least get this time.

The game is made entirely in PICO-8. There are some good resources and community links on that site to get started.

i experienced some game slowdowns when dashing which made certain areas a little more frustrating than they might have been.
my fully-mossed time was 25:14.

THIS IS SUCH AN AWESOME GAME???? i love love love the mechanics, they are very fun and ofc mossy!! :DD The world design is absolutely stunning, both in visuals and the different mechanics (bouncy clouds, bubbles etc). Love my little moss critter so dearly. I also enjoy the animation of moss spreading on the tiles, looks pretty awesome. 5 outta 5 stars, really great moss game

Great game. Just meant to try it out for 5-10 minutes and ended up completing it.

What an absolutely incredible game. Perfectly explained mechanics, provides the player with opportunities to discover uses on their own, combines mechanics in meaningful ways, and the art/audio were spot on to match the game's aesthetic. No complaints here, just praise! Would love to see more of your work in the future!
