Overview

Warriors is a third-person action-adventure about a child facing big feelings in a bedroom that changes with his emotions.

After overhearing that his parents are getting divorced, André falls asleep crying and wakes up shrunk to the size of a toy inside his own room. What once felt safe now feels huge, strange, and alive. As the room shifts through different emotional states, André explores, fights the invading Noises, solves puzzles, and helps the toys who live there.

By his side is Octi, a beloved purple octopus companion who helps in combat, movement, and exploration. Between chapters, the story unfolds through interactive first-person playmatics, where André plays Octi minigames on his phone while important real-life moments happen around him.

Warriors is designed as a heartfelt adventure about change, healing, and emotional companionship for children living through divorce, and for anyone still carrying those feelings with them.

Key Features

  • Third-person action-adventure with platforming, light combat, and environmental puzzles
  • A bedroom that transforms with André’s emotions
  • Interactive first-person playmatics that connect real-life moments to each chapter
  • Three core tools: Toy Sword, Frisbee Shield, and Twin Bubble Blasters
  • Octi, an adaptive companion who supports the player in combat and traversal
  • Side quests with toys and room inhabitants that explore loss, attachment, loneliness, resilience, and healing
  • A symbolic, emotionally driven story about growing up through change

What Are Playmatics?

Playmatics are interactive first-person story scenes where you experience André’s real life while playing Octi minigames on his phone.

They are not just cutscenes. Each playmatic plants the emotional seed for the next chapter, connecting what happens in André’s everyday life to how the bedroom transforms afterward. Real life shapes the room, and the room turns those feelings into gameplay.

Story / World

Warriors takes place entirely inside André’s bedroom, but this is no ordinary room. After the shock of his parents’ separation, the space begins to reflect his inner world.

Each chapter transforms the room into a different emotional state. What begins as a familiar place that simply feels wrong slowly becomes a flooded space of grief, a burning space of anger, a frozen space of loneliness, and eventually a bright new dawn of acceptance.

The room is filled with toys, tiny inhabitants, and emotional echoes of André’s life. Some need help. Some are hiding. Some are hurting in ways they do not fully understand. By helping them, André slowly begins to understand himself too.

Gameplay

You control André as he explores his transformed bedroom, fights the Noises, helps the toys who live there, and uses his tools in different ways depending on the state of the room.

Core Tools

  • Toy Sword for close-range attacks and special interactions
  • Frisbee Shield for defense, ranged throws, and traversal on ice
  • Twin Bubble Blasters for trapping enemies, moving objects, propulsion, air bursts, and more depending on the chapter

You can equip two tools at once, while Octi automatically uses the ones you are not holding. This creates different combinations of combat, movement, and support.

Each chapter changes not only how the room looks, but how it plays. Water affects movement and puzzle design, lava turns tools more aggressive and dangerous, ice changes traversal into something faster and more precise, and the final chapter opens the space into a more playful sandbox-like celebration of everything you learned.

Chapters

  • The Beginning of the End — denial
  • Sea of Tears — sadness
  • The Floor Is Lava — anger
  • Solitude — loneliness
  • Dawn — acceptance
