About:

A Memory of Numbers is a fanwork for Infinite Awakening by Tanabe Yuuya and Kaji Kento that tries to reinterpret the events of episodes 1-9 under my own lens of understanding. It was originally created to be a visual novel and still might be we'll see expanding on things the story has left unsaid while also adding additional stuff in the mix.

You do NOT need to have read the manga in question to understand this work. However, to get the most value out of this fanwork, please do!

Summary:

Six years ago, you - Kamigami Hiroya - witnessed a tragedy.

Six years later, and the repercussions of those events are all you have left to hold onto in a world that despises your existence.

Left as the only person in the world without a skill and stuck at the lowly level of 8, you dream of becoming something better: dream of becoming a hero who can save others the way you were saved once before.

And when a chance encounter with the man you admire leads you down a rabbit hole of “infinite awakening”, you find that the truth of the tragedy you survived goes deeper than you can possibly imagine.

Power is at your fingertips. An eldritch being has hijacked your body. And the person you admire most holds a sword pointed at your neck, his seething vendetta at odds with the way you long to fight at his side….
