You awaken in the serene yet unfamiliar Lotus Pavilion, with no memory of who you are or how you got there. Beside you is Han—a gentle, soft-spoken artist who claims to be your husband. He insists you simply suffered a fall and lost your memory. Everything he does seems devoted to your comfort… but the more you explore your surroundings, the more unsettling things become. “The production value is insane. Art direction is *chef's kiss* from UI, to sprites to CGs to backgrounds... The mechanics are so neat: the notebook with clues feature to try and deduce stuffs, and the point and click gameplay really gives the game a detective vibe. It's like playing as Sherlock Holmes but more sinister, I love it. The writing introduces the mysteries at a good pace, not too fast (becoming lore dumping) nor too slow (making you lose interest), it is just perfect : D I have so many questions ahhhh.”

this unsettling, tense feeling that there’s something wrong is so compelling, and I loved being able to investigate and even confront han about my fuzzy memories.
the bad endings were super interesting too, the ominous tone and tidbits of info were great , especially paired with the unique and eerie UI and use of red/blue. it really motivates me to uncover even more.
han especially seems sweet yet sinister, and I can’t wait to learn about his motivations and his specific dynamic with us. the more I learn, the more questions I seem to have haha.
overall, the demo is really well done, with beautiful visuals and voice acting as well.
i really look forward to seeing more ^^

This demo had me TENSE from start to finish! Everything about House of Petals is designed to ramp up a sense of unease that really pulls you into the story. Han is hot, but SUPER sus. I can't wait to learn more about him in the full game!

How do I play the game without paying?
The demo is free to play!
Theres no button to play it there's only a download button and it keeps telling me to donate when I click it

No, we don't have plan to let players customize appearance for House of Petals. If you want an mc with full appearance customization, stay tuned for our game Capybara Cafe Chronicles.

I've never encountered a vn that actually unsettled me because of the ambiance, the music, and the overall colour scheme, everything just adds to that eerie kind of feeling. ESPECIALLY Han, but we let him off cus hes handsome and allat. cant wait for this to continue

Hello! Thank you for enjoying our Han. If you're referring to the CG we use for social media posts, it cannot be unlocked yet in the demo. It will be for the full release.
i'm really loving the game but ya'll are cruel dangling the DLC options in front of me and not being able to pick them because it's not for sale yet LOLLL

Because in this story, in a historical setting, her being fem matters, and is central to the story.
sheesh, then find something else. there are a lot of visual novels with yandere love interests where you can choose your own gender so chill.
Yeah, that sounds like it sucks because free ones that'd suit your tastes exists where you can get a customisation tailored to your gender exists on an even smaller scale than ones where you get to play as a fem.

Unfortunately, no plan for it this moment. Mobile app development will require a lot of effort and money to do, which we don't have right now.
The demo is too short for me to be completely captivated. I don't know what to think of it yet. However, for now, I can say that the clue-finding mechanics themselves seem interesting and engaging. I want to see how the story develops and whether it's captivating or not 😊

Ok so reminder this is theory
So the Numbers I first throught they were A1Z26 ciphers and wrote them down and translated them but it ended up giving me a bunch of whole number sthought it was another but it kept loopibng back
So I decided to think maybe it's not a cipher but something else then we get to the Poems. These peoms are extremely spesific so they had to mean something. And so I decided to treat the numbers as a book cipher, but no normal colelct has 90 peoms 83 lines so I decided to change to symbolize I went to each poem and got what they meant so it means I have to be treating my numbers as symbols not lines
Now it means to three flower symbo, elemt symbol and emotion symbol

translate to
Often late season symbol
Wind/mist
Early emotions
Whiuch also translate to chrysanthemum, Mist, Fear/Falling
So the whole meaning is |Hidden truth in the mist about a fall|

Translate to "Lotus pavilion light hides the truth about memory"

So the last one is no differ it's just a sentense

Which connects to the start where hans likely said

Because no matter what happens, I will always belong to you"
But this also means our character is likely dead or someway in the motions of it in the vase there was blue chrysanthemum, spider lilies and the profile is a whole lue chrysanthemyum covering their face.
So yeah. .

I want to ask if you've already translated the meaning of the numbers? We have letter clues, like 18=E, 83=H, and so on, from investigating the locations. Because of this, when you correctly substitute all those numbers and think about it a little, they form the sentence: 'You are the creator.' If yes, what do u think about it?
so,
this is just my theory, but most likely, this cipher was created by the mc before she lost her memory (since this cipher and these numbers are written on her paintings with her name on them, except for the mug). She probably created it for us - it suggests mc knew something was going to happen.
From there, you can start developing your own theories, and I also lean towards the idea that the main character is dead, or something similar..
