Diabolik Lovers: Moonfall

Diabolik Lovers started as a visual novel in 2012. Over the years, the franchise by the company Rejet released several games, drama CDs, and two anime seasons. Several years ago, I decided to start a fangame in the style of the Diabolik Lovers anime. That’s how Diabolik Lovers: Moonfall was born. By now, my fangame has over 50,000 words, and the first chapters are out. I also started remaking the visual novel in Ren'Py, although I am still learning the software.
Summary: The great Vampire King, Karl Heinz Sakamaki, found a young woman with no memory of her past. He claimed that she was a vampire from a noble family and offered her a place to stay with him. The young woman changed her name and country to live with Karl Heinz’s family. Many years later, her now adoptive father has an unethical request for the woman, now named Akiza.
Content Warning: Strong language, suggestive themes, drug use, suicide, violence, and blood. This game is intended for audiences aged 18+.

And yet the spelling error is still there. :-) there are also a few other spelling errors in the description, but "learing" was too much of a meme to ignore.
Ahhh now i get! XD Sorry I sometimes don't get jokes since english ist not my first language. I guess i should put the whole text through a spelling tool. Never noticed that its that bad ;D

I LOVED THIS GAME
I could only get the Brute endings no matter what I did with Azusa's route.

Edit: I just watch the beginning for your video. and played through the Vn myself. I think the reason you did only get the Brute Endings is that you had the Yuma playthrough before? so Chapter 1-7 you did Yuma's Choices :P Try to start from the beginning and skip through with Azusas options.

They don't! :3 the content warning is mentioned in the beginning of the game. Most of it is not extreme.

I only got Yuma's vampire ending so far but I love the game so much. Love how you made him say that goat means greatest of all time.
Edit: sorry for the Reiji hate but it feels right to bash him a little during Yuma's route for all he put Yuma and Shu though. Shu being one of my favorite of the Sakamaki brothers along with Subaru.

Dia Lovers has never been my cup of tea, but I decided to give this fan vn a try anyway.
And I'm happy I took the leap!
I loved how complex you made Akiza, our leading lady. I admit, I was not expecting this much work and thought to be put into the female main character's story, So I am impressed with how compelling you managed to write her.
Another thing I loved is her relationship dynamic with Adrian ( MY SHAYLA ;;) and Azusa. I've been pleasantly surprised by the content Azusa's route has to offer-A Wonderful blend of darker psychological elements, and a nurturing female protagonist that not only stands her ground but is also pleasantly assertive with him. Simply *chef's kiss* Great job!
My final verdict is: Please never give up on this project, my dear! If you managed to convince me, someone outside of this specific fandom, of its value, you have no reason to feel discouraged by anything ❤️
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad you like my take on Diabolik lovers. I also struggled with overly sadistic scenes in the first game. It felt like pure fan service. But reject managed to improve the story in the later games.

just started this game two days ago real good believe me I've been a fan of dl for like a year now and like I love the Mukami's so much, I play the first two games on my phone with some app called ppsspp and stuff but I randomly found this game and downloaded it on a PC and bro lemme tell you how much love it I only played the Mukami route in just 2 days and it was fire and I really want more so I'm just asking
After chapter 7 it just told me thank you for playing so was that the end? Cause I really like this game regardless of it being fanmade it's really fire so what's coming next? Is there more? Are was that the end cause I love this 😭 it's inspiring and really did kill my boredom please make more IDC if it's not real it's too good 🙏😭😭😭

I'm so glad you enjoyed the mukamis so far. This is still a demo but Yuma and Azusa are almost finished. You discovered it at the perfect time.
So don't worry that wasn't the ending xD I'm a bit behind schedule but I'd say the update comes in the end of July or August.

Maybe, but it would be with translaton site or some fan helps me out. I'm german myself and used DeepL a few times because my english is not the best.
the parts in Italian are also mostly with DeepL (and proof reading by StealthKitten and she said that deepl is really good with translation).

Next will be the Sakamakis. So far the Prolog or familiy routes go to chapter 7 and then you will have character specific routes.
So next will be the start of LAito, Subaru and Reiji.
After that I will do a bonus route with a secrect character. ;)

I was looking up if DL was available for PC, since I've never played it but would like to (sadly the answer is no), and came across this. The art looks amazing! I love dating sims/otomes and while I can't download this at the moment, I certainly will soon! It looks great. If you need help with coding, there is a Ren'Py reddit. I code myself and am also very much so a beginner, but people on there are super helpful. Good luck and keep going! You can do it.

thank you so much for the praise :D Yes, as you said there are otome games about Diabolik lovers. In fact the series started with the CDs and the Otome game... I Made the GUi so it matched the Gui of the newer games.
When it comes to Kou... I will add a few flirty scenes with him in the Azusa and Yuma route but not a route, sorry :C At this point I need to focus on the 4 (5 if I decide to add Laito) routes.

Oh wow thank you! O_O... this project was originally for myself only so I could learn coding and all the stuff for VNs... And well the multiple routes are in the far future, some might never happen tho... I am not that good at writing so I focused on making the art accurate to the anime style. I am glad that you like it's style. After my project the shades of red, I will continue working in dl moonfall more. ;3
I made an account just to comment, for years I’ve searched for something like this. Tbh DL as a plot was lacking severely imo, if you ever need help I’ve studied other references perhaps we can improve on the original. Something like a slightly more relatable FL. Nevertheless, both of the arts are so appetizing.
