A downloadable game for Windows

A small dark incremental game set in a deep underground garden within a megastructure.

You grow plants and collect signals from them.
Create chains of plants to amplify signals, unlock new species, and buy creatures to increase their efficiency.

The game was made in 72 hours for Ludum Dare 59 on the theme "Signal"

Very fun tycoon style game. Please add more levels. Will for sure re visit if updates happen!

Another really fun game.

I love the concept, and to know this was done in 72 hours is just insane to me xD

Maybe I wasn't doing the optimal strategy, but the wait to get 1 million signals dragged itself out more than it needed to.I think it's because the game gets you up and running very quickly, but then you are only limited to 1 of each Plant that produce signals.

Maybe raising it to 2 per Plant variant would have made it feel less of a drag, or maybe having more Signal plants that produce higher numbers.

Other than that, I did like that little scene at the end.

Love the art style as always!

I couldn't figure out how to speed up my setup at some point, until I started collecting signals from a cactus and sending it back to it. I collected 400.000 signals pretty quickly using this method.

Overall, great game. I liked the ending!

loved the game,I'm very sure the idea for this game definitely came from a random thought about gardening or from a good memory of playing plants vs zombies. feels very much like a passion project and is innovative.

here's my gameplay (apologies for me not realizing what multiplier does early)

9/10!!!

Genuinely had to use my small ape brain to make the perfect farmer & managed to overstimulate myself LOL I loved your previous projects like Metal Undergrowth, Luminal Gallery & red finger, I loved this just as much & I can't wait to play more of your games! <3

Another amazing game from Kenforest, also I noticed that you can use the cactus to multiply your signal rapidly, if you just feed the signal on your phone into the cactus, itll spit out 4x the same amount, meaning you can hit absurdly high numbers of signal really quickly. Especially if you have multiple fans pointed back at the crop.

Simply enjoyable, worked smoothly no complaints. Really cool concept and finding out how to print so much signal was very fun to do.

BRO JUST MAKE A STARDEW VALLEY LIKE GAME. I WILL PLAY THE HELL OUT OF IT.

just signal

Is Signal Garden coming to Steam?

This was such a pleasure to play. Really awesome design.

Oh yooo, cool to see another game from you. Also excited to see Call to Summon inspiration return with the flipphone

Just finished playing this I really wanted to do the other levels. It is such a cool concept and I hope more gets added over time.

Can't believe this was made in 72 hours, the graphics alone is spectacular. It took me more than an hour to reach the goal. Not sure what's the best and fastest way to do it. Overall, such an amazing game!

It's just insane how this was made in 72 hours! Great atmosphere and gameplay!

It’s a really cool game, I enjoyed it, interesting gameplay, beautiful art, music and most importantly the vibe <3

Super fun game, would love to be able to play more levels like the ones you see in the intro! Hope you expand on this in the future!

Really cool concept, and great visuals as always.

-BUG-
I've had issues when sending the signal to close to the radar, it just disappeared and the total number didn't increase. I had to move back and send the signal somewhere around the satellite dish.

-CONFUSION-
Seeing the plants that are supposed to speed up signals, lower their value was quite confusing at first. Seemed like something is broken.

-AWESOME-
There were few, very satisfying a-ha moments to be had. If there is ever an extended version with more of those, I'd definitely buy the game.

I'm stuck at the beginning. I collect & store signals in my phone. Then, I send them from my phone to the collector dishes. But the signal count on the terminal does not increase?

Very well made game for a gamejam entry. If you do plan on developing this after the game jam, I would suggest more some plants that has the inverse affect of multi direction plants. (double the points, but randomly shoots them in a direction), as well as some pest that attempts to destroy the plants. Keep it up.

Alright another Kenforest game! I had a blast playing and it was so addicting! Only problem was that it ended too soon and that tease of a second level! Loved the aesthetic of flora combined with technology too!  Awesome job!
