this was my first time doing the full version.
The concept is incredibly compelling — watching AI‑driven nations expand, collide, and evolve across an infinite number of worlds feels like observing a living simulation rather than a traditional strategy game. The map system is especially interesting: each nation is represented by a distinct color, and the way these color‑fields behave almost like physical particles gives the entire experience a unique visual identity. It’s both abstract and readable, which is a rare balance to achieve. Impressive work !
can you all stop giving suggestions here, if you really want to ask for something, join the discord server and post there
I don't know if this is a bad idea or not but maybe you could add a culture thing so to where a nation has a culture that would give it a higher chance to align it more with other nations that have that similar culture, for instance a country with a collectivistic culture would have a higher chance to align with ones of that culture, some culture ideas could be, Individualistic cultures, collectivistic cultures and nomadic cultures. And also have it be where they can go from one culture to another given enough time
ADD CULTURES, RELIGIONS, POPULATION
year 982.. 1 nation took over the world i was using i wouldve expected it to take longer with how many there were
You mean... it could be a Thousand-Year Empire? Let's hope it's not German...
Thousand Year Reich
make it better
Add nuclier bombs
There are nuclear bombs already ?
can you make a scenario that has continents as countries and has flags and South and North America is just ‘America’
You can just do that yourself :D
can you please add a thing where i can make nations as strong as i want i dont really like spending money and i like your game!
Okay:)
add nuclier bombs pls
Paid for ages of conflict i'm on a mobile device.I need a refund
Huh? What do you mean? Did you buy it for mobile or from itch?
I think you should add a scenario for every real life map.
I made all the countries fight and the United Kingdom won!
then we’d not be hearing from joku for literal years
I have a suggestion for a new feature: region (territory-based) buffs/debuffs
Given that recent updates have allowed for the diversification of nation economies (with the possibility for optional, uniquely attributed financial bonuses), I thought it may be interesting to have certain custom, completely optional territorial bonuses representative of the existence of certain valuable natural resources/territorial droughts (appropriately relevant to a player's particular scenario). These buffs/debuffs could be just be inflicted at the player's discretion during the runtime of a particular simulation (with a customizable duration and effect for the nation currently occupying the area, perhaps depending on the proportionality between said nation's entire area and the area of the affected region). The effect could be simply a numerically customizable economic bonus or even a customizable defensibility bonus of the affected land tiles.
Apart from just affecting a region temporarily with a fun economic bonus for an arbitrary reason, I feel this functionality's implementation within/for scenarios could make them especially unique (resulting in specific areas being more beneficial than others, even though the map itself is the same). The best way I think this could be done is by defining certain "phases" or "seasons" that each possess, in accordance with the player's specifications, multiple different regions with specific bonuses (edited via the scenario creator) that, after a certain amount of time has passed, advance onto another player-defined phase/season of new affected regions. There could be as many defined phases/seasons as the player wishes for a particular scenario, but after every player-defined phase/season has run in the simulation, they would just repeat (resulting in unique, customizable, and most importantly, completely optional environmental effects).
For example, maybe (for no reason at all), I wanted to develop a scenario for the world map which defined three phases in which the eastern hemisphere is boosted with an economic bonus, and then one phase where the western hemisphere has an economic bonus (resulting in a clear, territorial disparity between the two that would constantly repeat over time). Obviously, that is a completely random and weird example; I'm sure players would define historically accurate "natural disasters" and permanent resource-based bonuses for specific maps (of course, all of this being completely optional).
I bought the full version on the mobile version, and i gotta say it's very interesting to see the scenarios. One problem that mobile users have compared to the pc version is that it's very hard to get other custom made scenarios. Would that be something to think about or is that hard to apply?
Thank you!
:)

I love this game!!! I first played the game wayyy before it got popular, and btw I don't have the real game because I don't have a credit card ): but the demo is actually pretty good! The thing I love about most about this game is map making! Idk if you made it better in the paid version, but I really think you could totally make map making features more interactive, but either way, amazing game, maybe my favorite on itch, and I want you (JokuPelle) to know that you're really good at making games! Good job!
Thanks! The map making is definitely better in the full version. If you want a bit closer look at what it looks like in the full version, check out the mobile version.
Demo is weird. Let's say I want to play as a particular nation. Why does it make decisions independently? It's a slog to win without manipulating other nations.
Well the demo (or the entire game also) doesn't really focus on "playing as a nation". But in the full game there are multiple ways to disable the AI for specific nations if you want to play as a nation. But keep in mind that isn't the focus of this game, rather watching/controlling the entire world where you want to
That's the thing. There is very little control if a nation declares war on one I don't want it to, so I send for peace, and it immediately declares war again, giving a revolt debuff. So instead, I have to go to the nation it's warring, and make it send for peace, and just do it over and over and over which makes it quite miserable.

Bro i got the game and its much better if you want it heres the name ages of conflict
Hi JokuPelle,
I’m organizing an itch.io community bundle. All proceeds go 100% directly to itch.io. If you’d like to join, here’s the submission jam: /itch/jam/thank-you-itch.
This is a huge opportunity to support Itch.io for creating such an amazing platform.
If not, that’s completely fine.
Can you please add an option to "Core-ify" all cities in the selected nation? It's bit annoying that you should "Core-ify" every single city manually to not affect economy, especially in custom scenarios. Also, thank you!
I'll add to this suggestion an option to annex all puppet states of a nation, so it would be easier to simulate some WW2 Scenarios like "puppetarization" of Vichy France.
I am Japanese. When I press the space bar in the alliance name change window to convert to kanji or other characters, time advances. I would appreciate it if you could fix this bug. Thank you in advance. Also, this bug occurred on the screen that appears when pressing a city to change its core province.
Thanks for letting me know. I will fix those tomorrow!
update 4.3.5 buddy pallerson
Can you add disputed land to the game?
nice but can you add ✨Flags✨ to the Demo?
called a DEMO for a reason
I am not super familiar with itch.io; after buying the game, am I able to download past versions (such as 4.2.2)?
I used to play this game on iOS, and was hoping to get it here so that I'd be able to play that version specifically.
Thanks for any help!
You can't download old versions here. But if you use the Steam key that you got with your purchase, you can use the beta branches on steam. I don't remember ATM if 4.2.2 has a beta branch
Could you maybe one day make past versions available?
I just think I prefer the old economy/combat system, and 4.2.2. was my absolutely perfect (I could continue to play that version and simulate different battles/"conflicts" forever lol). I'm just worried I may never get to fully have that version since I missed out on paying for this game coincidentally when that was the current version :(
It'd be really nice to be able to check out previous versions, even if I have to pay for it again. Thanks for your help.
They most likely will not come here on itch, but like I said on Steam there are Beta branches for old versions, and I just checked and v4.2.2 has a beta branch if you want to play it
Caught up with the updates you made these past few months, great job! If I were to give you a suggestion it'd be to add an additional setting that allows us to still display the names and borders of nations that are not in an alliance when using the alliance map mode. But either way, keep up the good work!! 🙂
if you can, make it that you can speed up x10 the scenario running
also can you make an Oceania scenario of 2026 (or the year the scenario is made)
can you add a Pangea scenario with 2026 (or the year that the scenario is made in)
When bougainville gets independence in 2027 (or whenever it gets independence) will u make a quick scenario update to make it a country in the scenarios?
can you add the 1444 Europe map?
I have been having trouble with the gold and power the uk attack Germany uk had 6 power on lock and 20500 and Germany power1 on lock and -7 Germany won how plz fix and add more sernarios like 2023 for December
Could you add the option to see the country at its peak - like a button that shows you the country when it had the most territories
yes, do this
add some additional stuff to the browser such as
1. Money
2.Useable/Saveable maps like the demo
3.Playable countries (to all demo browser and full version)
4. Changing Flags
5. Date for revolt
thats all if u can't do it to browser do it on demo or full version
I have played this game since the beginning and a big youtuber named hamedloco played it
I just looked him up. nice!
Is this rare? i just randomly got this flag in demo version
Wow! Cool looking flag!
I think the demo should be updated a little more, like to where it has some of the core features of the game now (like money) but thats really it I guess it reflects the entire premise of the game which is good I guess.
(Re-post so its higher on the board)
Stuff you should add:
1: New time presets like for example The mongal empire, the cold war, the american revolution, and the Qing Dynasty
2: Missles you added nukes but missles can have a samaller blast radious and do less dammge to the terrain but would be AMAZING with the 3rd one wich can also buff nukes
3: Population you can add it as its own bar next to "Actions, and Econemy" and just make the country have the correct population so when nukes (and missles if you add them) or even invasion it lowers the population and it would go great with the next one (tbh they all compliment each other)
4: Army size you can make the higher the population the more people sign up to join and make it so in "God Mode -> Ai settings ->" you can toggle draft on and off
Final Note: I hope you add these and in case you need it heres my email
judah.mickler1@gmail.com
You don’t need to repost your requests so that they “get higher on the board”; I’m sure JokuPelle as well as everyone else who attends this site has already read your post.
No one else does this, so you shouldn’t either. You’re just spamming and it’s annoying.
I think it will be cool and unlike you i dont follow the crowd just cause i feel like being lazy
Bro all you did was copy and paste something. The only thing you added that took any effort was “(Re-post so it’s higher on the board)”. You could have at least like added something different or provided a more comprehensive perspective on why you like some of the things, but you just said the exact same thing.
And, personally, I’m glad that everyone doesn’t spam the same message over and over again. In that regard, I’ll happily do whatever everyone else is doing. It would be so annoying to have to scroll past like 20 different messages because everyone would just do what you’re doing and send repeat messages.
Add Planned Revolts.
When placing a revolt in an Un-cored city there should be a small option to set a date for that revolt.
Such as if you want say Greenopolis to rebel from Bluenia in 1678 June 17th then you can do that.
