SECU Horizon

ENTER THE FLOATING CITY

Secu Horizon is a fast-paced, stealth-based 3d action platformer, where you run around in a dystopian city. The main mechanic of the game revolves around a knife projectile that the player throws and teleports to. The game will have a strong mix of smooth platforming, soft stealth sections, and bullet time combat, as the player throws around the knife to defeat enemies. The feeling that this game will invoke is that of being an unstoppable rebel ninja, in the cold dead of the night.

UNDERLYING NARRATIVE

Play as Klara, a quick-thinking parkourist that can get around the city with outstanding acrobatics! Team up with Clax, a friendly robot that helps you navigate the area and learn about the City!

TAKE ON THE HELMCOPS

SECUcorp’s main police force is comprised of Helmcops: mind-controlled civilians that patrol the city and have taken over. Take them on in combat to free them from SECUcorp control!

COLLECT KEYCARDS

Your main task is to get in and out of the city while collecting the Keys of the Sector’s Mother Computer. Once all have been collected, you can take on the Mother Computer and free all trapped under SECUcorp control in the Sector!

DEVELOPMENT

Developed using Unity 6, with hand-crafted assets made in Blender, we sought to create a fun and immersive 3D platformer with the distinct ability to roam and combat using a teleporting knife!
