Hello everyone. I'm Hatchet Games.

I write this update with mixed emotions, but with the certainty that it is the right step for the studio. After an exhaustive financial analysis and months of reviewing current market trends, I have made the difficult decision to permanently cease development of Maeve's Academy.

I know many of you have invested time and support in this project, but to be brutally honest: the "vanilla harem" genre is no longer profitable. The market has spoken, tastes have matured and financially it is unsustainable to continue investing resources in a narrative that does not generate the expected return.

Therefore, I'm restructuring Hatchet Games to focus on what the current demographic is actually consuming. Starting today, our next project will be a purely Netorare (NTR)-focused experience. I believe that this genre allows you to explore an emotional depth and psychological realism that vanilla fantasies simply cannot achieve.

Additionally, to make this transition possible and speed up production times, we have decided to dispense with our traditional art department. Starting from this new project, 100% of the visual assets will be created using generative Artificial Intelligence. This allows us to optimize workflow, reduce operational costs, and deliver content much faster than a human artist ever could. I know some might complain, but innovation waits for no one and efficiency is our new priority.
