Year 100 Million B.C. is a rules-light TTRPG about primitive people trying to survive. You’ll fight beasts, hunt prey, eat bitter roots, and possibly maybe invent fire — if you don’t drown in mud first.
A wildly historically inaccurate game of primitive hi-jinx.

This so good! Food for brain! One-shot next week. Will be fun. Can not wait!
Haha! Thank you for the kind words! Let us know how the game goes.
I love the game and especially the playable content.
I don't know if this is your PDFs problem or Adobe. I've tried printing this PDF as a statment-sized booklet, like I often do with zines, and it won't print properly, even when I remove the cover from the pages. The pages are flipped on the second side improperly. I'm still trying to get a good print after 4 tries.
Hello Brett, thank you for the kind words! There's an update coming very soon (hopefully this weekend), with updated rules and other content and big facelift. Hopefully that PDF will solve it.
Hi! This looks like a really cool little prehistoric game. However, i tried to purchase it but my credit card would not work, even though my card worked to buy other games on itch.io on the same day and my card is fine. Could there be a glitch somwhere?
Oh. That is strange, thank you for reporting. It is probably an issue with Stripe, I’ll look into it.
Yes.thank you
I logged in to stripe, I can see your attempted payment and it is returning a strange error code: "The bank returned the decline code
do_not_honor, and did not provide any other information. We recommend that your customer contact their card issuer."I recently switched from PayPal to Stripe, so I'm not sure if I set it all up correctly or not yet... Confusing!
no problem.is there another method of payment like venmo?
Not at the moment. :(
But the rules are also available here: https://goldenachiever.github.io/year100millionbc/ It is lacking the overland adventure stuff though.
Great job! Would love to have some additional procedures for solo play or to create a new map to play in
I would love to have some rules for solo play, but I would have to leave that to someone else to develop since I’m not knowledgeable enough on solo stuff.
Procedures for generating overland areas is planned. I definitely think it would be somewhat that would be very useful to include.
I loved it so much I made a video review! (It has automatic English dubbing.)
This is very cool. However, I would like to humbly point out a couple of issues with version 0.1.... Location 0-1 is unkeyed. Almost all of the parenthetical references (e.g., "(F-11)") are wrong and need to be updated. Do you have suggestions or rules for advancement? e.g., do you ever get more hit points or skills ("you can make fire!")... finally, "Ongo Gone!" doesn't seem to be tied to any location or other references.
You do not get more skills. But you are free to add your own, that's the fun with games. But I have some ideas about fire for the future, but it will be very simple.
Thank you for those catches regarding the map, I was messing with the map up until publishing and this slipped through the cracks. Appreciated, and fixed! (pdf updated).
Ongo Gone is not tied to a location, you are free to place it wherever you wish.
Excited to play! Wondering what your timeline is for adding content. No pressure lol just curious
I want to make each update substantial (adding 4 pages), so I'm not sure. But I have a bunch of ideas already that I want to add. So... soon, but not very soon haha
Excited to get this to the table!
dude let’s play!
I'm in!
