Controls

Use the left and right arrow keys/buttons to move the tetromino blocks left and right. Press the "Z/C" key on your keyboard or the "O" button on your touchscreen to rotate the tetromino blocks.

Gameplay

Try to make complete rows by moving and rotating the tetromino blocks. Make as many complete rows as possible before the tetromino blocks reach the top of the screen.

About

This game was created for the Cat Jam for Charity game jam. I'm a huge cat person, so I loved the idea of this charity jam. :)

This is my first time creating a Tetris clone, and I didn't use any tutorials, so I ended up creating some...interesting programming solutions to say the least. I wasn't able to start working on this game until the jam was already almost over, so once I landed on code that worked, I moved on. As a result, the code is sort of ugly. (But it's fine, it works.)

I wanted to add a couple more standard Tetris mechanics to the game, like using the down arrow to increase the tetromino fall rate and wall-kicking, but I ran out of time. As a result, while I wouldn't consider this game to be a WIP, hardcore Tetris players might disagree with that. :P
