Milestone - sound engine

The project is being actively pushed forward. In this build, we're increasing the level of immersion. We're enabling sound via AHI. The sound engine works in two ways: first, background music—a continuous stream from the HDD, and second, buffered samples. The epic in-game sound is the work of scene creator Szymon Szuchaja. Additional sampled SFX complements the audio experience. The game engine introduces additional solutions that vary behavior depending on system resources. Of course, the project is still in development, and many things will change, but the goal requires it. Enjoy the new upload.

Please check AHI settings: unit0 4 channels. For Paula set 8bit

There are two engine versions:

Axion - progresive build for 060 fpu

Axion_compat - for Os4, Morphos and Os3 040 machines

Nice, but why do you refuse to upload a standard LhA archive to Aminet so every AmigaOS user can try it out?

Good point. I thought Aminet is more for ready-made projects... But yes why not...

Thank you very much for considering it. Most Amiga sites show Aminet's most recently uploaded files, so you should get the message out easier. Best od luck with the project!
