Hello hello! As of right now, Version 2.0 of Spare Parts: Episode 1 is available. This update includes:

• An entirely new script
• Improved art
• New UI
• A new song
• ...and other small things!

I've talked about this for a while over on Bluesky and Patreon, but this is what I've been working on the past few months. I completely rewrote the entire script to make it match my current standards a little better and feel more consistent with where the series ends up going, tonally. I think it's just a much better experience overall, so give it a look!

...However, I made sure not to change anything so substantially that people who read the original version will have to double back and REread it. You should be able to continue with the series normally, so no need to fear.

Along with this, I've released version 2.0 of Episode 2 as well. It isn't a complete overhaul in the same way, but I ported all the improved sprites in and made some edits to make it align with the changes to Episode 1. And some other edits to fix some writing I went back to and was like, what on earth is this? What was I doing??? Again, nothing major.

I'm sure there's going to be some bug I've overlooked, and things might get a little janky if you have previous game data, so if you need help or just notice something wrong, please feel free to contact me at sofycrystals@gmail.com.
