OVERVIEW

We made a new Boss Rush mode for Stardust Demon, which becomes available once you beat the game! This guide contains a simple overview with a couple of tips and a secret code to unlock it if you haven't yet beaten the game.

The Boss Rush contains all of the bosses found in Stardust Demon, with some rogue-like elements sprinkled throughout. At the start of each battle, you can choose from several power-ups that will aid you in battle. These power-ups last until you die and build off of each other, and are random so you might get lucky one loop and less lucky the next!

The power-ups are as follows:

Scringles - Refills your Scringle Slots after every battle.

Bounce Beam - Switch your main weapon to the Bounce Beam instead of Fire Breath.

Fireberry or Bounceberry - Increases the amount of ammo you can hold by 15.

Heathberry - Increases your healthbar by 20.

Bombberry - Increases the amount of bombs you can hold by 12.

Aim Module - Allows you to aim you Fire Breath of Bounce Beam up or down.

Luck Module - Sometimes do extra damage when hurting a boss.

Heal Module - Sometimes heal when taking damage.

Syrup - Refill all of your health, ammo, and bombs.

Fire Inhaler or Beam Splitter - Upgrade your main weapon to do more damage.

TIPS

• There are three boss tiers, split between early game, late game, and end game. Each tier is randomized so the order of bosses will always be different.
• Play around with different combinations of upgrades to see which ones work best for you!
• Be strategic about you resources as they carry on from battle to battle. Sometimes it's good to take advantage of the resources a boss will drop.
• Scringle Slots are fun :3
• One full loop occurs once you beat the second part of the Anuracanth, but you can continue playing to increase your hi-score and see how far you can get!
• Can you make it to the second... or even third loop?

SECRET CODE to Unlock

Boss Rush mode will be unlocked if you've beaten the game. But if you don't have it unlocked and want to access it with a secret code, then...
