Train temperaments


  • Trains now have a temperament option, affecting what detours they are willing to take when the path is blocked
  • For trains waiting for a free path, the pathfinding visualiser now clearly marks the tile where the path is blocked
  • Adjusted pathfinding penalties for railway structures
  • The Orders window now has a Go toggle button
  • Fixed the shift modifier not working for landscaping tools
  • Fixed a bug where right-clicking the Load/Unload buttons in the Orders window did not work as intended
  • Fast combustion engines now have a distinct engine noise
  • Added an alternative faster explosives factory process using plastics instead of logs

Please redownload and extract over the old version to get these improvements. If you prefer to extract in a new location, copy the folder named "user" from the old version to the new version to keep your progress, saves and settings.

The new tutorial 1 makes impossible to build a train station as you do not have the required 3 semiconductors.

This is because you have enabled Electrified Rail (click the button with the electric symbol in the Railroad Construction window to disable it). I will add code to disable this button in the early tutorials.
