Upscaling Your Turn To Die to full resolution in real time
Howdy! This is less of a devlog about this game but more one regarding others.
Your Turn To Die and most of its fangames (currently) have a comically small resolution, which at times is quite painful when you have a bigger monitor. You get used to it eventually, but it still kinda sucks. It's one of the big reasons why I always wanted to make my own fangame.
Recently, I found a cool tool called Magpie which lets you upscale games in real time, and it works like a charm for YTTD stuff when you use the Anime filter. The only one where it has a problem is, ironically, King's Turn to Die, as it currently will still show the title bar. However, KTTD was always made with higher monitors in mind, so the 1080p resolution doesn't really need to be upscaled anyway.
If you want to try out the tool, here's a quick video I made on it. Have fun!
