Idle Xanxia - Live on Steam

Small milestone — Idle Xanxia is now live on Steam (Early Access).

About the Steam version:

This is a paid Early Access release. The goal is to support continued development while building toward the more structured progression systems (leaderboards, competitive elements, etc.).

The itch version remains a great place to experiment, but the Steam version is where progression will be more standardized going forward.

Since the last post:

  • the game moved from “Coming Soon” to release
  • Did a lot of balance work on stats and Daos
  • Fixed bugs and added progression to the Missions Hall

For those who’ve been following the project here:

The core direction hasn’t changed — still focused on long-term progression and build depth — but the experience is now much tighter:

  • early progression is faster and more readable
  • stat impact is clearer (less “invisible scaling”)
  • Dao paths feel more distinct in how they shape builds
  • overall pacing is closer to what I want for long-term play

Current state:

  • 2 full planes playable
  • Plane 3 in active development
  • 50+ Dao paths being iterated on

Next focus:

  • leaderboards (PvE / PvP)
  • further Dao expansion
  • pets / cosmetics
  • deeper sect systems

One important note: The Steam version is meant to be the “clean progression path” going forward, especially with competitive systems coming, so the saves from itch won't transfer.
