With intuitive game design, the world can be navigated using only sound—whether you play with mouse and keyboard, keyboard alone, or a gamepad.

Interactable objects guide you with sonar cues, and environmental sounds like rivers lead you forward. Hundreds of hours have gone into building and testing navigation systems. For example: facing a wall plays a sound reminiscent of a blind person’s white cane, reflecting how canes are used to detect obstacles in the environment.

Pick the approach that fits the moment—or challenge yourself for fun. Like… attracting a dozen zombies with a loud gun >:)

Content

• A short but sweet story mode that can be replayed in different gameplay styles for many hours of memorable experiences. A hardcore mode is also available: Designed for those who really wishes to sharpen their ears and have a more survival-like experience!
• Endless & Training: Two arcade-like modes where zombies circle behind you. How long will you last?
• Tunnel & Scavenge: Keep moving as the horde grows—while your limited ammo becomes more precious between pickups.
• Bomb Defusal: Memorize spoken sequences and input them quickly to defuse the bomb. Sharpen both mind and reflexes!
• Try to clear as many challenges as you can! How many “crystals” can you obtain?
• More content planned! No promises though!

NVDA SUPPORT

There is an NVDA mode that let's you use your own screen reader. It can: Read menus, read the current subtitles with a button press, as well as the ability to copy the current subtitles to the clipboard.

ABOUT DEVELOPER:

This game was created by Noah, a visually impaired gamer who wanted to make a game that’s accessible to people with complete blindness. The game helps raise awareness of how 3D games can be navigated using only sound, and how sound can be used to create unique and fun mechanics within games. 

However, the game is also designed for sighted players, offering a chance to practice and rely on their hearing, and thus experience, in a small way, what it might be like to navigate the world without sight. The project also earned second place in The Great Journey’s Summer Pitch 2021!
